Our production staff are constantly learning new skills and perfecting existing ones. Some of the training is conducted by the National Film and Television School, one of the most respected educators in the industry. For this exercise one of our film editors had to assemble a sequence using clips of real footage and sound recordings from a feature film. We think he did OK, don't you?

This factory has a very short operating season for one of its products so the company commissioned this film to show year-round visitors what happens. The film was shot in the UK and Holland.

This is a 90-second promo for a fun run that takes place in Ghana, West Africa. The footage came from a local TV station and the music was sent to us by the promoter. We don't know who the musicians are but we love the track.

When the chief executive of the Nene Park Trust left the organisation the staff wanted to get him a special leaving present. They commissioned a pop music video to a re-written version of Parklife by Blur. This was the result.

THIS is a short film about a one-day conference. We filmed the conference (including every speaker in full) and interviewed key figures attending the event. This is a typical two-day project - one day on location filming and one day in the edit suite putting the film together. Nobody does better films cheaper and the client was delighted.

THE Redring Expelair Group has asked us to re-work a film we made last year for them, tailoring it to the Middle East market. The new version of the film incorporated some of RXG's static artwork as well as some stunning 3D logos from our friend David Read at ID8.

WE'RE having the busiest spring ever at NorthLight Media with requests coming in every day for film production, still photography and copywriting services.
Right now there are four films in production with three more at the planning stage. Two have been signed off by clients this week and will be posted on the Videopeterborough.co.uk website.
Our stills photography is very much in demand, too, and our recent acquisition of new cameras and lenses that can double up on video duty has extended the range of photography services we can provide.
Copywriting was the first service we offered back in 2009 and five years later we still pride ourselves in our ability to hone a sharp, engaging paragraph or two. We're busy with website content, company brochures, school prospectuses, press releases, training materials and, of course, our own film scripts.

THE first short documentary film from NorthLight Media has appeared on YouTube. The 15-minute video follows Peterborough street photographer around the city and looks at some of his work going back to the 1980s.
