Martyn Moore
FOUNDER of NorthLight Media, Martyn is an award-winning writer and editor. He started his career as a professional photographer in the 1980s before training to be a journalist. He spent more than 20 years in the publishing industry before creating his own company and specialising in corporate video production. He worked with the BBC in 2005 and gained valuable experience working alongside camera and sound professionals. In 2009 he was asked to write a script for a corporate video and was later invited to co-direct that film on location. This experience convinced him that there was a lot of fun to be had in the world of short commercial film-making and that the growth of the sector driven by the internet would keep him busy.
Martyn has had training in video editing from Adobe and in film-making technique from the National Film and Television School. Here is his personal website.
